Columbus-based Artist, Adam Kiger, To Be Represented by PVG-Artisans

"CHILLICOTHE,OH -- PVG-Artisans is pleased to announce that they will be representing Columbus-based artist, Adam Kiger, both nationwide and in select global markets.

“I thoroughly enjoyed his works as seen in a few Columbus venues during the past year,” said Cynthia Davis, owner and curator of PVG-Artisans, an art gallery located at 13 W. Second Street, in Chillicothe. “He has had quite an exceptional run of success during the last few years, and is now focusing his time and talent fully on the arts. PVG-Artisans is thrilled to act as Adam’s consultant and marketing liaison.”

Kiger attended the Art Institute of Pittsburgh in 1993, studying Visual Communications in order to become a Medical Illustrator. In addition to being a painter for the past 25 years, Kiger is also a published poet, a writer, and a successful internet architect. His paintings have been displayed abroad in NYC, the Hamptons, Los Angeles, and Montreal. His works have been displayed locally and regionally at PVG-Artisans, Ohio Wesleyan College (December 2014), RAW (an event in Columbus, Ohio), The North Market, and the Ohio Art League exhibits. Most recently, Kiger has been invited to show his artwork in Palermo, Italy, Paris, France and London, England.

“Some of Adam’s works are being prepared for transport to the next exhibit. The current grouping of paintings will remain on display at PVG-A through Wednesday, October 8,” said Davis. “We first exhibited select pieces of Adam’s original paintings at our first Supper & Song series, held in conjunction with Totem Supply Co., in June 2014.”

According to Davis, PVG-Artisans will represent Kiger within the Midwest market, focusing on select regional galleries, exhibits, and other major markets.

“We will select major markets for product placement in advertising campaigns, TV, movies, and more, and we will continue to carry Kiger’s original paintings and select watercolor series at PVG-A, where he will have two special exhibits in August and September 2015,” said Davis. “This has been a wonderful opportunity for PVG-Artisans to showcase high-end artwork that is progressive and can be classified as a mixture of neo-dadaism, realism and pop art. His works are bright, stark, thought-provoking and intense. Adam is a delight to work with, is thoroughly professional, and has a strong work ethic rooted in family, art, and deep-thought. I am thrilled to represent an artist that continues to push the envelope with his process and creating art that stops people in their tracks...literally.”
